We're kind of in a rut at our house when it comes to snacks...what do you like to have or give your kids for a snack? A couple of our favorites are fruit and cheese or a slice of homemade wheat bread with 1/3 less fat cream cheese (Neufchatel) spread on it. What are your favorites?

We are pretty boring when it comes to snacks. Oaklee mainly likes oranges, grapes, string cheese, crackers, fruit snacks, pretzels with peanut butter, yogurt, or marshmellows. Nothing too exciting!
my kids will eat anything they can find...especially between the couch cushions or things that have rolled under the stove. Sorry...can't help more than that.
I'm with Vicky - plus I'd be too embarrassed to publicly share what I feed my kids for "snack". Lips are sealed...
My kids are older and require bigger snacks. This is totally unhealthy but yummy and the kids like it. I buy the frozen soft pretzels and Ragu double cheese sauce. They can make it themselves. When I am feeling more domestic we do like to make homemade pretzels together. I have a good recipe. Maybe I'll put it on here. The kids like to make their own shapes, not the traditional pretzel shape. Like hearts, letters,ect... Wow this is a really long comment sorry.
Hummus is always good with pitas and/or veggies. I have a hummus recipe that I want to try, so if I find that it's good I'll post it.
