Zuppa Tuscana

Zuppa Tuscana
1 pound Italian sausage
2 large sliced potatoes
1 large chopped onion
3 cloves minced garlic
2 cups chopped kale (or spinach)
2 cans chicken broth (or 2 bullion cubes)
1 quart water
1 cup heavy cream (or 1 can evaporated milk)
1/4 tsp red pepper (optional)
1/2 can Bacon Bits or bacon (optional)

Cook sausage. Place onions, potatoes, chicken broth,
water, garlic in pot, and cook on medium heat until
potatoes are done. Add sausage, bacon, salt, and
pepper to taste, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Turn to low heat, add kale and cream. Heat through
and serve.

We had this tonight and it was delicious!
Sorry my picture isn't prettier!

You know, I think so! Someone gave this recipe to my husband and we tried it last night. I think that it is better than OG :)
